Add some magic to your home or garden with this super easy to make popsicle stick fairy door. All you really need is popsicle sticks, glue and a little imagination and you can decorate your fairy door anyway you like; depending on what craft materials you have. So why not have a go at making your own and see your home or garden become enchanted?
What you will need:
Craft Sticks- find in store
Scissors- find in store
Aluminium Wire Black- find in store
Step One:
Lay out a small amount of popsicle sticks vertically and secure by gluing a horizontal panel across the top and bottom on both sides.
Step Two:
Add an optional diagonal panel on both sides and weather the door using watered down coffee and a paint brush.
Step Three:
Add some hinges and a door handle by bending wire and gluing into place.
Step Four:
Weather your door some more using floral adhesive and moss. Begin by applying the glue to the door in patches and then place the moss on top and leave until dry. Once dry, remove the excess moss.
Step Five:
Add some bunting. You can make your own using card and string or make a smaller version by cutting the ends of ready-made bunting. Glue both ends of the string onto the other side of the door to secure.
Step Six:
Finish the design by decorating with artificial flower heads.
And there you have it! Easy to make and they look magical in the garden.
