'How To' prepare your vase

Posted by Danielle Golding on 15th Jun 2021

Your home can be instantly brightened by adding a gorgeous arrangement of faux flowers. Artificial Flowers are great value for money, perfect for those with pets and allergies, maintenance-free and look stunning! In this guide, we will teach you how you can prepare your vase to ensure your arrangement is sturdy and looks completely natural.

Pot Tape

Attach floral tape to your vase creating a grid pattern, this will ensure your stems are stable and provide support to them. I would also suggest putting tape around the lip of the vase once the grid has been created.

Pin Holder

A pin holder (sometimes referred to as frog pin) consists of numerous pins embedded on a lead base that supports stems and they can be used over and over again. We find they are best used with fresh flowers with a woody and hollow stem. These are available in a range of sizes, to shop our pin holder selection please click here.

Chicken Wire

Using wire cutters, cut a piece of the chicken wire longer than the width of the vase and curl the wire under itself to create a ball shape. Place the chicken wire inside your vase and manipulate it if needed.
