October's Floral Store Demonstrations

Posted by George Worman on 18th Oct 2018

The weather may have been awful on Sunday but everybody's Christmas spirit and creative juices were flowing with the Christmas floral demonstrations that took place across all of our stores last Sunday. Everyone had a fantastic opportunity to be inspired by florists such as Dean Sharpe, Emily Deacon and Julie Pearson to name a few.

With us quickly heading into the festive season, most of the designs were Christmas inspired, however there were a few more autumnal and Halloween themed creations. Here are some of the beautiful arrangements that were made throughout the day using a combination of fresh and artificial flowers.

It was a great opportunity for florists of all walks and levels to gain some valuable tips and new techniques from industry practitioners.

Across some of our stores, people had the opportunity to win some of the beautiful arrangements that were made throughout the day by entering a raffle to raise money for charity. In Bristol, £58 was raised for Royal British Legion.

After the demonstrations, with baskets in hand and fuelled with inspiration, everyone dispersed into the store ready to pick items for their own creations. If you missed out on Sunday or just want to attend again, then you can find information on our November demonstrations here and any other upcoming events.
