If you're looking to create a beautiful, meaningful gift this Valentines Day - then we're here to help. We've put together a really simple guide to show you how to create a stunning rose heart arrangement.

For this, we used heart-shaped floral foam with a plastic back. This gives the arrangement more stability and also allows it to be mounted or displayed more easily. 

We used white and red roses to give the piece more dimension but you can use any colour you'd like. 

Take your roses and measure against the foam, this will show you how much to cut off the stem. Place the cut rose next to the other roses to show you how much to cut off. This will mean all your flowers are the same length and the overall effect will be better. 

Once you have trimmed the stems on all your roses, you can start to form the arrangement. If you're using multiple different flower colours, you can either arrange them with one colour on the outside, and one in the middle or arrange them randomly, dotting different colours around. 

Once you have the outside filled in, it's time to start filling the middle with the red roses. The best way to place the floral stems into the foam, is at a slight angle. This will stop the flowers from falling out if you decide to hang the arrangement up. 

If you have any gaps, you can take some of the leaves from the stems and put these into the foam, this will cover all the gaps whilst creating a nice border.
