As 2022 draws to a close, we thought it would be the perfect time to start looking at what wedding trends we can expect to see coming in for 2023. We’ve scoured the internet to find out what trends we’re going to be seeing more of over the next year.
Bold Colours
One of the largest trends predicted for 2023 is bright colour palettes. More and more couples are ditching the minimalist, neutral tones and opting for more colourful themes to better express their personalities. Over recent months, couples have been reacting to the seasons and introducing more seasonal florals into their wedding. Winter weddings are seeing deep reds whilst summer weddings are making use of bright pinks and purples.

Greenery over Florals
We expect to see an increase in couples using greenery over florals in 2023. It seems as though couples are opting to ditch the florals entirely and go with something more fresh and clean. We expect to see a ‘less is more’ approach with couples choosing one large installation over crowded table settings - this makes for better photo opportunities.

Disposable Cameras
Candid photos are making a resurgence for weddings in 2023 and disposable cameras are the best way to do this.. Couples are adding the fun, film cameras to tables in place of wedding favours (also being ditched in 2023, but more on that later) and guests are encouraged to take photos throughout the night. This gives you a mixture of professional and fun photos to look back on years down the line.

Candles
Candles have always been a popular choice for weddings. The warm glow always gives off a romantic feel which is perfect for a wedding. We’re expecting to see a lot of hanging candles as well as lit up staircases and aisles. Basically, we’ll be seeing candles in every single space possible.
