We had the opportunity this year to attend Chelsea Flower show, and what a show it was!
The Great Pavilion was awash with the most beautiful autumnal displays. There was seasonal produce spilling out of the vintage carts, the most wonderful textures coming from grasses and seedheads and expertly crafted floral installations.
The Great Pavilion
If you havent had the chance to visit Chelsea Flower Show or watch the TV coverage, The Great Pavilion contains displays from some of the best nurseries in Britain along with, floral arrangements and floristry installations. The marquee was the place to be if you wanted to discover new and exciting plant varieties.
The RHS has a large area dedicated to the finalists of Plant of the Year and best Garden Products of the year. Not only that but they have a section where you can ask the RHS Garden Advice team any questions you may have on growing your own.
The majority of the nurseries that exhibit at The Chelsea Flower show specialise in showcasing specific types of flowers and plants and from the moment you step inside you are engulfed in gorgeous colour and dazzling displays.
My favourite exhibit was Parigo Alstroemeria. Alstroemeria are known for their glorious colour and lasting blooms and thats why I and many others love these flowers.
Parigo, are a British born and grown flower grower, which suits this years Chelsea theme perfectly 'Sustainable and Environemental Awareness. Parigos passion is "to show the world what a fantastic assortment of Alstroemeria are available, both as cut flowers and as garden plants"
Congratulations to Parigo Alstoemeria for being awareded a Gold medal for your stand
