Country Baskets Handmade Christmas- Gift Tags

We are already thinking about Christmas here at Country Baskets, in fact we think about it all year round. We love Christmas as we can get craft happy, making lots of handmade gifts and decorations. From now right up until Christmas day we will be sharing with you our tips and tricks to have the perfect handmade Christmas.

For now, we are showing you how to make these lovely handmade personalised gift tags. They make a great alternative to the standard gift tags you get with your store bought wrapping paper and they are super easy to make meaning you can get the kids involved too! They will give your gift the perfect finishing touch.

What you will need:

Adhesive Wooden Letters- Find me in-store

Glue- Find me in-store

Lollypop sticks- Find me in-store

Decorative Baubles- Find me in-store

Hessian String Natural

Step One:

Firstly spread out all the adhesive letters in front of you and pick out the letters you need for the gift tag.

Step Two:

Now glue each letter on to the craft lollipop sticks, press and hold each letter down for a couple of seconds to make sure that the letter is secure.

Step Three:

Pop some glue on the hessian string and also on the back of the craft stick. Glue this to the back of the craft lollipop stick in a hoop form. Press and hold the twine for a few seconds to secure it.

Step Four:

Finally place your handmade gift tag on the beautifully wrapped present and secure down with tape. To decorate you could add some baubles or small craft bells, the possibilities are endless.
