Even after a few years of seeing flower wall all over pinterest they are still very trendy and are continuing to pop up everywhere! From baby-showers and bedroom walls, to wedding photo booths and shop fronts, we just can't seem to get enough of them!
This step by step guide will help you in creating your own flower wall.
Step One: Attach the panels together
If you require a larger flower wall you will need to attach the seperate panels together. To do this, we slightly overlapped the two panels and secured using floral wire. We repeated this multiple times down the length of the flower wall.
Step Two: Start arranging and wiring.
If it helps you can start by just placing your flower heads on top of the flower wall to ensure you get the look and feel you desire.
When you are happy with how it looks this is when you can start securing the heads in place. You can either wire these in or remove some of the heads that are already on the flower wall and replace with your chosen flower.
To wire your flower head to the flower wall simply grab some floral wire and twist this around the stem that remains on the flower head a few times, ensuring you leave enough wire for attaching. Take the excess wire and attach your flower head to the flower wall grid, again twisting it several times to ensure that it is secure.
To attach without wiring, carefully remove the existing flower and replace with your chosen flower.
Step three: Accessories!
To finish off our flower wall we added a light up love sign.
We wired the letters to the grid and then fed the battery pack through the base to conceal it.
Step four: Hang up, stand back and adore.
Hang up your flower wall in your desired location and let people fall in love with it!
