Have a go at creating this beautiful contemporary floral arrangement. This Bamboo and Bark Arrangement has been created using a mix of real and artificial flowers.

What you need

X3 Prestige Orchid 100 cm - Green

Finland Moss 500 g Asstd Colours

Conker Pick Set Of 12 3cm

Lydia Cabbage Rose Spray 39 cm - Asstd Colours

Meadow Artificial Cattail Spray 66 cm

Wooden Tray With Bark Edge (find in store)

Fregola Bunch 10pcs size 50cm (find in store)

Oasis Wet Foam Brick (find in store)

Step One

Cut wet foam bricks to size and insert into tray making sure to wedge them in as tightly as possible. This will secure the Fregolia once in place.

Step Two

After you have wedged your wet foam into the tray it's time to add the Fregolia. Take your Fregolia and push each stick into the foam, creating a forest effect.

Step Three

Cover up the foam by spreading moss at the base of the Fregola.

Step Four

Start building up the arrangement using some Veronica. Peel the stems and insert into the foam base vertically. Make sure the heads don't reach higher than the Fregola.

Step Five

Add Snowberries to the design. Take off the branch to keep it light using a florists knife for a nice, clean cut.

Step Six

Add an extra texture to the design with some artificial Cattail Grass. Trim the steam to shorten the grass and insert into the base.

Step Seven

Cut stems off of the Artificial Rose Spray and insert sparingly into the base. This will add a strong colour to the design.

Step Eight

Place some autumn Dahlias into the base for more vibrancy.

Step Nine

Cut some Sedum and dot into the design to finish off the base.

Step Ten

To finish off the base insert some conker picks in clusters at the corners and around the center of the display.

Step Eleven

Add some orchids and tease them so that they hang over the display to give it that real wow factor.

When the fresh flowers die you can replace them with different flowers making this piece extremely versatile and changeable throughout the seasons.
