Floral Friday: Teak Peacock Arrangement

Get creative with florals and feathers to create this unique and beautiful arrangement. The perfect statement piece, this arrangement is ideal for weddings, events or special dinner parties!

Follow this how-to guide and you'll have your very own Teak Peacock Arrangement.

You will need:

Pack of 10 Peacock Feathers 80cm

Pack of 5 Large Natural Birch Bark

Silver Metallic Flitter 600 ml

Pack of 12 Ivory Floating Ball Candles

Artificial Premier Vanda Orchid Purple 84 cm

Artificial Sea Holly Spray Purple 81 cm

Eurosand Coloured Sand Green 550 ml

Eurosand Mirrored Glass Granules Asstd Colours 1-4 mm 550 ml

Ivy Capillary With Fruit Green. (find in store)

Teak Wood W Glass Bowl 40x30cm (find in store)

Step One

Cut a piece of bark to sit slightly larger than the teak base and secure with hot glue, carefully use a hot glue gun to apply the glue.

Step Two

Now that you have cut your bark to a desired size. Pour in coloured aggregates, make a bold statement with green and blue to compliment the design.

Step Three

Cut the peacock feathers to size and glue into place between the bark and base and layer into teak branches. The layers of peacock feathers will create a natural look.

Step Four

Cut up Vanda orchid stems and again glue under and around the base. Save one head to float. Then trim off surplus bark and glue in thistle heads and ivy berries to add texture.

Step Five

If you are happy with how the sand is siting in the glass bowl then begin to slowly poor water into the glass bowl. About half full is fine for now.

Step Six

Add floating candles and an orchid head, and sprinkle moderately with green flitter.
