So last night (13th September) Country Baskets hosted an exclusive shopping time for Gold Card holders with an additional 20% off ALL STOCK. People came from near and afar to take advantage of the fabulous discount, exclusive shopping time in the evening, drinks and nibbles and prize draw!

Here at Country Baskets we are keen to support local businesses which is why we hold these events, as well offering our everyday trade benefits.
This isn't just done via discounts, we also run campaigns such as our ‘Use Them Or Lose Them’ campaign. The idea behind this is to encourage people to visit their local florist to purchase fresh flowers, in order to achieve this, Country Baskets offer £5 vouchers to all our Green Card customers that they can redeem in participating florist shops! The florist can then bring that £5 voucher back into Country Baskets and stock up on whatever goodies they need!

It was great to see so many people last night redeeming these. Bristol store saw many florists redeeming them last night! For example we had the opportunity to meet Tina Hampley who's an award winning florist with awards such as the Margot Fontaine cup and a Chelsea Medallist! Tina was in the store redeeming 5 of her ‘Use Them Or Lose Them’ vouchers!

Also last night we ran a competition in each store where just by purchasing something you were entered! The winner from each store will receive a selection of goodies, so stay tuned on Facebook and Twitter later on for the winners! Everyone had a great time last night, feasting on the free nibbles and drinks provided! It was great to get a chance to talk to our Gold Card customer base about what features they like and didn't like.
