How-to: Easter Bunny Arrangement

Posted by Jessica Walton on 31st Mar 2017

This Easter themed arrangement is ideal as the centre piece for your dining table or as decoration for an Easter party, with the use of fresh colours and traditional Spring flowers this will be perfect for the upcoming season.

The arrangement is a great way to brighten the home and is also a good way to get the kids involved with a project. Either way, this piece will be sure to add an element of fun to your next flower arrangement.

You will need
Candle holder basket with handle
Bunny (find in store)
Tutti Frutti Freesia x2 (find in store)
Elderflower spray
Mini eucalyptus spray
Bunch of 6 tulips pink
Narcissi spray x3
Piece of dry oasis (find in store)
Stub wire 1.0

Step One
Cut a piece of dry foam to fit the container, this can be done easily by using the base to measure the width that the foam needs to be, then insert it into the glass liner.

Step Two
Take a piece of firm wire 1.00 gauge and bend it around the base of the wooden bunny to form two wire legs. Push the wire legs into the foam at the front so the bunny appears to sit on the rim of the container.

Step Three
Starting with the tallest flower, the Narcissi Stray, insert it into the foam behind the bunny to create the start of the flower arrangement. This needs to be the highest point of the whole basket arragement.

Step Four
Cut the elderflower spray into two short pieces and insert them into the foam on one side of the container next to the bunny.

Step Five
Form a line of tulips on the other side of the bunny beside the Narcissi Spray, again starting with tallest first and inserting firmly into the foam.

Step Six
Add a cluster of yellow Freesia and Eucalyptus to fill any blank space around the bunny or other flowers.
