Now is the perfect time to start gathering ideas and inspiration for your Christmas wrapping, and here at Country Baskets we have the ideal way to kick things off! With a rustic twist that is beautifully on trend and brings with it a chance to get a little creative, this four part project is definitely worth a go and is bound to wow your loved ones.

Step 1:
Start with wrapping your gift in natural brown paper. Now measure and cut a piece of the Jute Ribbon, this needs to be long enough to wrap around the width of the gift with extra length to ensure that it can be secured.

Step 2:
Tape the Jute Ribbon ends to the back of the gift, this is where the extra length of the ribbon will come in handy as it gives you the chance to overlap the ribbon and create a seamless join.

Step 3:
Cut a length of tweed string which will tie around the same place as the Jute Ribbon, you will need two pieces of these lengths.

Step 4:
Proceed to tie these two pieces of string around the gift and into a bow. Tying them at the same time will give the rustic feel that we are looking for.

Step 5:
Next cut two artificial Pine pieces and use string to tie them together at the end, this can be done by taking the string from the label which will be used later.

Step 6:
Add the label to the string that was used to tie the Pine pieces together, this is the perfect time to write your festive message on the label to the receiver of the gift.

Step 7:
Finally, secure the label and Pine piece around the string bow and position so the knot can't be seen.

Wrapping each of your presents in this fashion but with different coloured tweed string or with a variation of pieces to add to the label is the perfect way to create a rustic vibe, but will also create diversity and interested for your loved ones.
