Last week Country Baskets team visited the wonderful RHS Tatton Flower Show held at the beautiful Tatton Park. One of our favourite elements of the show was The Gardens, each and every garden was different and told a story. Each garden was designed with a theme in mind, considering the space, the plants and flowers used, the furniture featured, which resulted in some beautiful and compact areas within the show grounds. We've picked out a few of our favourites below!

Slow the Flow Garden

Large clean-cut concrete beams and smooth metal rills create a contrasting element to the bushy greenery of this garden. This garden was designed with the issue of non-porous materials contributing to floods and also a potential solution that demonstrates techniques for capturing, retaining and slowing the flow of rainfall.

This amazing garden was designed by John Everiss Design and Franchesca Murrell.

Relaxation, Meditation

The signs and symbols that are included through this garden and designed to inspire meditation, along with the selection of specific herbs and water feature that creates a relaxing atmosphere.

This beauty was designed Paul Morris and Mike Ball.

Peace Garden

The mix of bright flowers along side contrasting wicker structures and the dark wood with colourful fabrics creates a mismatched and bohemian feel to this garden, making it a relaxing experience for all.

This stunning garden was designed by Matt Campbell.

Macmillan Legacy Garden

Each element of this garden represents something about the Macmillan charity, the upright timber and copper poles represent the work that Macmillan has done and with words from the people the charity has helped on the copper disc in the center of the seating area.

This meaningful arrangement was designed by Lara Behr

Chaos to Coastline Coastal Garden

This is the garden that was awarded Best RHS Young Landscape Contractor & Young Planting Designer of the show, and uses a restricted palette of cooler tones that complement the harsh surfaces of the structure creating a restful feel.

This chic garden was designed by Ben Poulter and Elliott Hood.

Arrange: Rearrange Countryside Garden

This garden was designed to capture the cyclical lifecycle of plants and explores creative means to extend our appreciation of them, there is also the element of using the linear planting patterns to create a traditional cottage vegetable garden feel.

This beautiful garden was designed by Anna Rhodes.
