One of the most prestigious horticultural events in the gardening calendar is the Chelsea Flower Show, and with over 100 years of shows there’s no need to wonder why. However, this year one of our own, Tracy Rowbottom, is competing for the first time in 8 years! Since winning in 2004 and then continuing to compete until 2009 where she won another gold, Tracy has experience with the competition and how challenging it can be.
For Tracy to compete in this years Flower Show, she needed to get through the heats, in which she came first in her region. She now has to deliver her final piece to a panel of experienced judges which will take place from the Tuesday 23rd to the Saturday 27th of May.
Country Baskets are proud to sponsor Tracy in her Chelsea Flower Show journey and also excited to see the outcome that will incorporate our products in an innovative way. This innovation can already be seen in her designs and the ways she is planning on using certain products in her pieces.
The innovative ways that Tracy uses products to create her pieces is something that we always looking forward to seeing. This can be seen in the other Chelsea Flower Show pieces but also the projects that she does for Country Baskets, that doesn’t just involve floristry but arts and crafts as well.
As part of the team that Tracy is from we are more than honoured to be sponsoring her through the competition and also excited to be a part of such a prestigious event!
