For this fringed bouquet we decided to reuse a fringed ring from a previous project as the base which can be found here
Whether you're having a traditional wedding or a non traditional festival wedding, we think this quirky and personalised wedding bouquet will add a truly unique touch to any wedding. So why not have a go at making your own fringed bouquet using fresh flowers or artificial flowers from our wide range here at Country Baskets?
What you will need:
Anaphora 4ply Yarn (find in store)
Cardboard
Paper
Fresh Flowers/Artificial Flowers
Step One:
To begin, Wrap a small cluster of stub wire in stemtex. Make sure you leave a section of wires exposed at the top for the next step.
Step Two:
Insert the exposed stub wires into the centre of a circular piece of card that measures around 23cm in circumference and bend out the exposed wires to create a frame. Tape in place to secure.
Step Three:
Create the handle for the bouquet by wrapping the stub wire in yarn and secure using a glue gun.
Step Four:
Using a glue gun, glue the handle onto the fringed ring base.
Step Five:
Glue a piece of card or fancy paper into the centre of the fringed ring. This will create a base for the flower heads to stick to.
Step Six:
Add some accessories to the design by hanging pompoms from the ring.
Step Seven:
To finish the design, tie a pompom or two to the ring and start building up the floral arrangement by sticking flower heads to the card/paper base using Oasis floral adhesive.
And there you have it! An untraditional wedding bouquet that is perfect for a festival wedding or any wedding that requires a unique finishing touch.
