2018 has blessed us with not just one Royal Wedding but two. Everything about Princess Eugenie's Big day looked spectacular, from the Dress to the Wedding Cake, everything looked absolutely perfect. Of course we were fixated by the stunning choice of flowers that were used at the Wedding of Princess Eugenie & Jack Brooksbank. Here is a quick look into their big day.
The Chapel Flowers
The Wedding took place St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and this was beautifully decorated with clusters of Autumnal British flowers including Chinese lanterns, hydrangeas, hypericum berries, garden roses, lots of different types of foliage, eucalyptus, oak leaves from Windsor Great Park and much more. Perfect for the fall season and wonderfully on trend.
The magnificent floral display was designed by Rob Van Helden was made to "reflect the rich and vibrant tones of autumn", Buckingham Palace revealed. The colour palette is a world away from the traditional white & green that has been used in the past but we absolutely love the colours and flowers choices used.
The Bouquet
Princess Eugenie's bouquet was created by Patrice Van Helden Oakes. Featuring traditional colours and arranged in a beautiful teardrop shape. The gorgeous bouquet was made up of white roses and plush trailing ivy. Blue thistle which adds a pop of colour and as seen in previous Royal Wedding Bouquets lily of the valley which represents marital happiness. Not forgetting a sprig of myrtle in the bouquet a tradition started by Queen Victoria.
Bouquet Recipe;
- Ivy Spray Medium Leaf Green 56cm
- Artificial Prize Single Stem Rose White 64 cm
- Prestige Lily Of The Valley Spray 76cm
- Artificial Globe Thistle Spray Purple 77 cm
- Artificial Stephanotis Spray White 88 cm
The bouquet perfectly complemented Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress which was designed by by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. Following in the footsteps of the Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex, Eugenie laid her wedding bouquet on the Grave of the Unknown Warrior to honour Britain's fallen soldiers.
What a beautiful day! We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness.
