For part two of our 'Styling our Artificial Greenery' series we are showing you how to create a very on trend, hanging houseplant!
What you will need.
Hanging planter | Oasis Brick | Moss | Trailing Artificial Plant - we used Split Philo Hanging Bush
Step One:
Firstly cut your oasis brick to size and place centrally inside your plant pot. If you need extra security you can use floral tape to keep in place.
Step Two:
Now insert your greenery in to the oasis block, we inserted it on an angle which makes it that bit more secure. It also allows the greenery to fall more naturally.
Step Three:
You now need to manipulate the stems and leaves of the trailing plant to mimic the look and feel of a real hanging plant. Make sure that you look at the hanging plant from all angles so you can be sure it fills the pot nicely.
Step Four:
To cover the exposed oasis we used asia moss, this also helps the arrangement look more realistic! Another option here would be to use decorative stones.
All that is left to do now is hang up and enjoy for years to come! The only thing you will need to do is give it a little dusting every now and then with a damp cloth.
